Description:Georgetown's Economics Policy Immersion provides an interdisciplinary exploration of the complex role played by states and other governing entities in relation to markets, through the lens of both economics and political science. You'll study theoretical concepts from both fields and practice applying them to real-world problems—both in the U.S. and abroad—to assess the situations and evaluate policy solutions. By the end of the program, you'll have a deeper understanding of not only the key philosophical and theoretical concepts behind economic policy which affect all facets of our life, such as price interventions and regulations, but also the main issues the U.S. economy faces today.

Essay Pompts:Write a 300- to 500-word personal statement describing why you want to attend the Summer High School Programs at Georgetown University.

Letter of Recommendation:Provide the contact information of your current high school school counselor (preferred), teacher, or principal who will be able to speak to your overall academic readiness for the program and can verify your current GPA.

Other requirements:Show evidence of good academic standing, with at least a 2.0 GPA Have no history of suspension from high school
